摘要: Abstract : The paper describes a detailed experimental study of turbulent boundary layer development over rough walls in both zero and adverse pressure gradients. Skin friction was determined by tapping the roughness elements measuring their form drag. Two wall geometries were chosen each giving different law behaviour. However, it has been found that results for types correlate with Reynolds number based on shear velocity distance below crests from which logarithmic distribution is measured. One important implication this gradient cavity type conforms to Rotta's condition precise self preserving flow. (Author)
