Hydrodynamics around cylindrical structures

摘要: This work discusses the subject of wave/current flow around a cylinder, forces induced on cylinder by and vibration pattern slender structures in marine environment. The primary aim book is to describe resulting load which develops when waves or current meet cylinder. Attention paid special case circular development related various patterns discussed detail. Regular as well irregular are considered, cases like wall proximities (pipelines) also investigated. intended for MSc students with some experience basic fluid mechanics PhD students.
