摘要: Plant biology has been revolutionized by the development of genetic transformation systems. Genes are routinely engineered and reintroduced into a variety plant species. The functions cloned genes can be determined through use antisense gene expression cosuppression. Transformation further broken down species barriers, permitting transfer from any source plants. In area hormone biology, approaches that greatly extend technical feasibility now possible. Experiments previously required exogenous application chemicals accomplished more precisely. While transgene technology its limitations, it eliminates or reduces problems associated with uptake, transport metabolism exogenously applied materials. It is possible to direct alterations specific tissues developmental stages. Application analysis biosynthesis functioning ethylene particularly useful. Transgenic plants have facilitated elucidation mechanism as well role in development, culminating control fruit ripening. work advanced than other hormones, illustrates great opportunity presented field.
