Optimal acquisition policy with quantity discounts and uncertain demands

摘要: We study the acquisition policy decision problem for a supply network involving one manufacturer and multiple suppliers. The produces products under uncertain demands each supplier provides price discounts. is to determine manufacturer's production levels so as maximise expected profit, subject both suppliers’ capacities. present mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) formulation of problem, single- multiple-sourcing procurement policies. General algebraic modeling system (GAMS) its solvers, combining external integration functions, are employed solve complex MINLP problem. preliminary computation results managerial analysis reported.
