摘要: Abstract The global electrophilicity power, ω, of a series dienes and dienophiles commonly used in Diels–Alder reactions may be conveniently classified within unique relative scale. Useful information about the polarity transition state structures expected for given reaction obtained from difference Δω, diene/dienophile interacting pair. Thus process can related with non-polar (Δω small, pericyclic processes) polar big, ionic mechanisms.
