摘要: It is desirable to be able predict, from a specified mechanism, the appearance of currents that flow through single ion channels (a) enable interpretation experiments in which channel are observed, and (b) allow physical meaning attached results observed kinetic (noise relaxation) aggregate many observed. With this object, distributions (and their means) derived for length sojourn any subset states (e.g. all shut states). In general these found depend not only on state starts, but also immediately follows sojourn. The methods described derivation distribution of, example, number openings, total burst may occur during occupancy, apparent gap between such bursts. illustrated by application two simple theories agonist action. Castillo--Katz (non-cooperative) mechanism predicts, openings per length, independent concentration whereas cooperative predicts both will increase with concentration.
