摘要: A detailed thermal model of the conical evaporator Pluto/Express AMTEC cells is developed to evaluate effect cone angle (between 0° and 90°) on cell performance temperature margin. The calculates vapor exit mass flow rate as a function design, operating hot side condenser temperatures, external load resistance, design type structure materials standoff. This paper describes model, numerical approach method solution used. Results were not available at time publication, but will be presented conference.
