摘要: This paper focuses on load management in loosely-coupled federated distributed systems. We present a mechanism for moving between autonomous participants using bilateral contracts that are negotiated offline and set bounded prices load. show our has good incentive properties, efficiently redistributes excess load, low overhead practice. Our is especially well-suited stream-processing applications, an emerging class of data-intensive applications employ "continuous query processing" model. In this model, streams data processed composed continuously as they arrive rather than after indexed stored. have implemented the Medusa stream processing system, we demonstrate its properties simulations experiments.
