摘要: Opportunistic Routing gained lots of attention as a way to improve the performance wireless multi-hop relay mesh networks. The key characteristic is its ability take advantage numerous, yet unreliable links in network. most important part every opportunistic routing protocol forwarder selection algorithm. Most currently known protocols assume that signal paths from sender all candidates are independent each other and therefore resulting packet error rates. However, this assumption does not hold for spatially close which so uncommon indoor In paper, we present empirical measurements our 802.11 test-bed reveal nodes correlated. We believe loss radio propagation due shadow fading similar nodes. For setup find out spatial correlation exists when closer than 2 m other. candidate set algorithm able calculate rate even individual rates correlated, e.g. correlation. Therefore only simple modification existing ordinary link probing required. Finally, modifications made packet-level simulator respect well simulation results.
