A decade of research and services for homeless mentally ill persons. Where do we stand

摘要: Over the past decade, researchers have documented range of needs and devised new methods for increasing our understanding homeless severely mentally ill population. Clinicians developed an appreciation difficulty complexity effectively treating this population, policymakers become increasingly aware barriers to developing services housing. In article, progress-to-date in research, evolution service approaches, development federal, state, local policies meet individuals are assessed. The many challenges that remain also considered.
