摘要: South Africa has one of the highest rates intimate partner violence in world. However, very little research been done on interventions that combat this violence. We investigated an intervention for domestically violent men through experiences six female partners during programme participation. Interpretative phenomenology was used to analyse women's programme. During participation continued dominate by keeping information about domestic secret and accusing woman being abuser. Women experience psychological abuse were ambivalent long-term effectiveness The study highlights importance hearing voices when assessing effectiveness, predicting future abuse, increasing efficacy programmes.
