摘要: We present a programmable real-time pattern recognition retina fabricated in standard CMOS 0.6 /spl mu/m process. Each of the pixels is composed photodiode and an electronic device used during programming phase to digitalize image recognize into binary stored latches. The array thus partitioned two complementary disjoint subsets with all photodiodes same sub-set connected together order obtain sum total currents. During analysis phase, optical correlation between projected reference memorized circuit done. result read-out as voltages representing following currents: "white" current proportional luminous flux falling on pertaining part "black" corresponding black part. By comparing these expected values, shift or difference observed programmed can be detected.
