摘要: While a growing amount of literature has recently emerged describing network governance, less attention been paid to evaluating the actual performance networks. Our paper looks at challenges facing governance for natural resources (primarily logging and forestry) energy renewable efficiency) in Asia. The investigates what is, types networks have tackle. It then develops qualitative analytical framework evaluate effectiveness consisting five criteria: (1) clarity roles objectives among members, (2) having strong, independent, continual sources funding, (3) institutional formality (having permanent secretariat, budget, full time staff, etc.), (4) efficacy (ability accomplish its mission goals least possible cost); (5) level interdependency members. Finally, we apply this four case studies: Association Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Centre Energy, Renewable Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP), ASEAN Regional Knowledge Network on Forests Climate Change (FCC), Forest Law Enforcement Governance (FLEG). These cases illustrate effective (or ineffective) environmental factors that are associated with governance.
