摘要: Background— Severe congenital mitral stenosis (MS) is a rare anomaly that frequently associated with additional left heart obstructions. Anatomic treatments for MS include balloon valvuloplasty (BMVP), surgical (SMVP), and valve replacement (MVR), although the optimal therapeutic strategy unclear. Methods Results— Between 1985 2003, 108 patients severe underwent BMVP or intervention at median age of 18 months (range 1 month to 17.9 years). subtypes were “typical” in 78 patients, supravalvar ring 46, parachute 28, double-orifice 11, multiple types ≈50% patients.
