摘要: Abstract Transition and lanthanide metal complexes have rich photophysical properties that can be used for cellular imaging, biosensing phototherapy. One of the applications such luminescent compounds is detection visualisation nucleic acids. In this brief review, we survey recent literature on use (including ReI, RuII, OsII, IrIII, PtII, EuIII TbIII) as DNA optical probes, including examples bind selectively to non-duplex topologies quadruplex, i-motif mismatches. We discuss metal-based in time-resolved microscopy super-resolution techniques. Their phototherapy are briefly mentioned relevant sections.
