摘要: Recurrence of Crohn's disease (CD) after ileal or colonic resection is common. Many studies have tried to identify predictors postoperative recurrence (POR) in CD. A wide range histologic features been identified, but for most them, the literature provided conflicting data. In last years, several suggested that findings including inflammatory changes within enteric nervous system margin may be associated with CD recurrence. Herein, briefly summarizing pathophysiology POR, we review all histological studied so far: granulomas, appearance at resection, plexitis, lymphatic vessel density proximal and morphological analysis Paneth cells. Granulomas chronic inflammation do not seem predict POR Active vessels density, cells POR. Most these await replication independent studies. Available evidence indicates taken into account when developing strategies aimed preventing
