摘要: Drawing on testimonies from oral history interviews, this paper analyses the implications of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) practices for gay men in England. Through perspectives biomedicalisation, focuses three aspects relevant to construction technoscientific identities realm HIV prevention: (i) question agency PrEP users context what has been defined as a biomedical intervention, (ii) freedom framed within neoliberal narratives personal responsibility versus responsibilisation and (iii) governance risk era biomedicalisation. The concludes that governmentalities, even those shaped by rhetoric responsibility, can be understood rationalities linked more solidarity care other.
