摘要: The assessment of visitors’ willingness to pay (WTP) achieve scenarios that guarantee good conservation status in protected areas and positively contribute visitor experience is crucial revealing the potential harmonize development nature-based tourism biodiversity. We estimated WTP for a variety environmental attributes area biodiversity hotspot central Chile. Using choice experiment (CE), was protection animals, plants, soil; guaranteeing provision ecosystem services related water resources; increasing touristic infrastructure. Among animals marginal mean WTP/visitor/visit single levels variation attribute ranged from ~ US $1.4 (for herbaceous species) $7 birds). soil camping walking trails reached $2.8. benefits US $− 1.98 activities such as hydroelectricity mining) $5.6 ecological processes). Small increases infrastructure recreation are well accepted by visitors (a $1.50) compared medium or large increases, which generate negative WTP. Our results indicate preferences can converge. Broader assessments include multiple biological have emerged useful approaches designing management strategies align with goals preferences.
