摘要: Aluminum alloys are the focus of increasing attention from automobile industry because their light weight, high formability, and easy recyclability. In this report, a 4 kW power direct diode laser was used to examine weldability aluminum AA5022 AA6016. A heat conduction welding type bead shape produced with very smooth surface. Full penetration butt possible up speed 12 m/min for 1 mm thick 6 m/min Welding phenomena were observed video camera. Very quiet observed, no spattering or plasma formation.
