摘要: The results of mapping standing biomass for a northern forest in Maine, using NASA/JPL AIRSAR polarimetric radar data, is presented. By examining the dependence backscattering on backscatter modeling and aircraft it was determined, agreement with other recent reports, that cross-polarized (HV) data from longer wavelengths (L, P-band) were best channels total above-ground biomass. signal appeared to lose sensitivity changes dry levels beyond about 15 kg/m/sup 2/ (150 Mton/Ha). ratio HV two bands, wavelength P (wavelength=68 cm) or L band (24 shorter C (6 cm), enhanced correlation image signature (r/sup 2/=0.83 P/C r/sup 2/=0.79 L/C) showed increased 2/. >
