Its age makes it key site for studying behavior early hominin groups Iberian Peninsula western Europe ecological context in they developed. At locality, three archaeostratigraphic levels have been identified, with level 2 being richest terms remains recovered. It exhibits high taxonomic diversity, most common taxa belonging open partially habitats, although aquatic riparian also identified. Carnivore are present, scarce. Coprolites from hyaenid found. Both carnivore activity has documented at site. Evidence suggests least one bone-cracking had access assemblage. The anatomical ratios employed suggest that was formed time competition (intra and/or inter-specific), number predators this context.
