As a result, there are few studies that devote close attention individual examples the themselves. In this article, we offer detailed analysis two jihadist speeches by prominent ideologues Adam Gadahn and late Anwar al-Awlaki. We argue Al-Awlaki’s work ultimately succeeds where Gadahn’s seemingly fails because it is underpinned form fundamentalism which, paradoxically, inherently premised survival possibilities for dialogue polyglossia.
