摘要: Muscle cross-section areas were measured by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the thigh of a human cadaver,. results being compared with those obtained photography corresponding anatomic macroslices. A close correlation was found between MRI and photographic evaluation, differences methods ranging from nil to 9.5%, depending on scan position muscle groups. In vivo measurements performed 12 female 16 male students, objectivity, test-retest reliability variability studied fixing either manually or coronary scan. The latter method appeared be more objective reliable. coefficients variation for range planimetry given areas. Allowing differentiation several small bundles area, proved suitable quantify cross-sections intra- interindividual analysis size.
