摘要: With the recent formation of Center for River-Ocean Studies (CeROS) at Tulane University in Louisiana (see http://www.tulane.edu/~ceros) and emerging state-federal partnership that is creating river diversions to combat coastal land loss, increased attention being paid lowermost Mississippi River, from Baton Rouge Gulf Mexico, as a critical juncture storage area sediment particles bio-active compounds. CeROS scientists, working with US. Geological Survey National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, have undertaken detailed re-assessment channel floor water column this region using geophysical biogeochemical data collection, combined historical sets.
