Heterostructural Ni 3 S 2 –Fe 5 Ni 4 S 8 hybrids for efficient electrocatalytic oxygen evolution

摘要: Developing efficient and durable oxygen evolution reaction (OER) electrocatalysts with non-noble elements is particularly urgent for electrochemical water splitting. Herein, we report heterostructural Ni3S2–Fe5Ni4S8 hybrids directly grown on redox-NiFe foams (denoted as NFS/rNF) excellent pre-catalysts OER in 1 M KOH media. The performance can be tuned by amount of sulfur source, the optimized electrode only needs low overpotentials 199 mV 240 mV to attain 10 mA cm−2 100 mA cm−2, respectively. Moreover, overpotential further reduced 231 mV deliver 100 mA cm−2 after multi-cyclic voltammogram scans, due exposure abundant situ generated Ni(Fe)OOH species. Excellent stability continuous 40 h operation also demonstrated. Our study provides a new strategy direct synthesis self-standing integrated hybrid electrodes oxidation.
