摘要: While Williford puts forward a self-reflexive account of subjective character, which identifies the subject experience with episodes (or stream) consciousness, an alternative is defended here that whole organism. On this latter approach, mental representation conscious if its neural substrate integrated into overall neuronal state underlying organism at time. This approach avoids important problem arising for ’s theory, namely individuation episodes. elaborated in greater detail.
