摘要: In a previous paper (Hermann et al 1974) detailed experimental and theoretical investigation of an arc in supersonic nozzle flow was initiated by discussing the high-pressure section near stagnation point. This is continuation this work for further downstream, especially within nozzle. Extensive measurements temperature, velocity, pressure electric field strength are described. Theoretical results obtained two-zone model. A comparison between theory experiment allows first time complete quantitative discussion all effects influencing flow. Compared with influence radiative energy transfer decreases. Instead, turbulence becomes dominating exchange mechanism.
