摘要: The physics goals of high luminosity particle accelerators, from LHC to HL-LHC and the next generation lepton colliders, have set quite stringent constraints on future needs at Instrumentation Frontier. Many technologies are reaching their sensitivity limit new approaches need be developed overcome currently irreducible technological challenges. timescales spanned by projects in physics, ranging few years many decades, constitute a challenge itself, addition complexity diversity required accelerator detector R&D. This paper summarizes advances recent trends instrumentation techniques for experiments, largely based presentations given International Conference "Instrumentation Colliding Beam Physics" (INSTR-20), held BINP Novosibirsk, Russia, 24 28 February, 2020.
