摘要: Purpose: Muscle relaxants and anesthetics are usually associated during intubation. However, their relative role to facilitate the process is not clearly defined. This study was designed determine, intubation: i) of atracurium-induced neuromuscular block and; ii) effect different doses propofol in presence complete muscle block. Methods: Patients were randomized four groups received fentanyl a standardized anesthetic procedure. from high (H; n = 45), medium (M; 48) low (L; 47) 2.5 mg·kg –1 , 2.0 1.5 respectively. Atracurium (0.5 ) then injected tracheal intubation performed once achieved at orbicularis oculi. group without atracurium (WA; 20) as H. Intubation expected onset time action atracurium. Results: Using same dose propofol, incidence good or excellent intubating conditions 35% 95% with (P < 0.0001). In patients receiving atracurium, clinically acceptable more frequently highest (group H M vs L; P 0.03). Conclusion: Our confirms interaction between anesthesia relaxation produce adequate conditions. described, dependent on blockade than anesthetics, but both improved Objectif : Agents d’anesthesie et curares sont souvent associes pour l’intubation.
