Moderating influence of social support on suicidal ideation in a sample of Mexican immigrants.

摘要: The present study explored social support as a moderator in the relationship between depression and suicidal ideation sample of 104 immigrant Mexican-American adults. Participants completed Personal Resource Questionnaire--Part 2, Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression Scale, Adult Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire. Ineffective high were significantly associated with elevated ideation. Further analyses indicated significant interaction predicting ideation, thereby suggesting that may serve protective factor against during acculturative process.
