摘要: Exergy analysis was first developed mainly to assess the efficiency of thermal systems. Therefore, several application-specific details need be clarified in order make a clear implementation it discrete manufacturing processes. Rather than transferring exergy, production machine aims transform material into useful products and destroys exergy along way. The present study is focused on this dissipative nature processes which raises interdisciplinary issue significantly affects way metrics defined. Solutions overcome these challenges are discussed an exemplary case given illustrate application.
