摘要: This study investigates the effect of magnesium doping on performance nanocrystalline zinc oxide (ZnO) thin film solar cells. MgxZn1−xO (x = 0.00, 0.05, 0.075 and 0.1 %) nanoparticles were prepared by simple precipitation method. The crystallinity morphology photo-anode was characterized X-ray diffraction analysis scanning electron microscopy. various concentrations ions structural optical properties ZnO examined. Doping helps to grow larger in size with rod like surface morphologies. Solar cell 0.075 % doped electrode exhibits an enhanced short-circuit current density 3.36 mA/cm2, open-circuit photo voltage 0.79 V, fill factor 0.73, overall power conversion efficiency 2.1 %.
