摘要: Carbon dioxide injection in geological formations is currently a common procedure several reservoirs worldwide. More recently, it has been considered permanent storage solution, avoiding emission to the atmosphere from large industrial sources. Also, largely employed oil & gas exploration industry, for enhanced recovery (EOR) operations. However, known fact that of amounts CO2 into may lead series alterations due chemical and physical interactions with minerals fluids, especially carbonate or carbonate-rich reservoirs. Experimental numerical models have many studies past, investigate these effects on environment. So far, most focused siliciclastic formations, whereas reservoirs, which are be much more chemically reactive when interacting CO2, were less investigated. We present review experimental studying CO2-water-rock interactions, their application investigation impact reservoir quality integrity caused by carbon dioxide. © 2017 Society Chemical Industry John Wiley Sons, Ltd.
