摘要: The majority of mutations that delay flowering in Arabidopsis thaliana have been identified studies the Landsberg erecta (Ler) ecotype. In this report we describe a gene (referred to as FLD) that, when mutated, delays Columbia ecotype but has minimal phenotype Ler genetic background. late-flowering fld mutants requires non-Ler allele another involved control time, Flowering Locus C. retain photoperiod response, and time can be reduced by cold treatment low red/far-red light ratios.
