摘要: AbstractIn this paper, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), a novel light source, is reported for the photocatalytic degradation of four known pesticides [2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic (MCPA), 4-chlorophenol (4-CP), and 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP)] in aqueous solution. 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic was further chosen to evaluate impact photocatalyst loading intensity on rate. The 2,4-D under LED irradiation (365 nm) compared with that using mercury discharge lamp (350 nm). Irradiation different 365-nm source led their complete mineralization upon prolonged exposure. rate slower when mixtures were used because competition between pesticide molecules adsorption sites, hydroxyl radicals, holes.
