摘要: Abstract Managers of national parks and other protected areas need to balance visitor needs with conservation objectives. In Western Europe, these are often part a “living landscape” where people live work the area roads used not only by visitors but also utilitarian local bound through traffic. When recreating in areas, many park at gateway as main entrance point nature areas. As such, gateways useful means management. Two case studies locations Veluwe Netherlands show that can tempt their car gateway, which results reduced traffic flow within an area. To attract visitors, it is important be strategically located (e.g. border area) facilities activities offered meet demands.
