An investigation on dispersion of optical rotatory in AgCl-Ag thin films due to the birefringence, induced by elliptical polarized light irradiation

摘要: In this report, the optical properties of nanostructures made by irradiating AgCl-Ag thin-films a monochromic elliptical polarized He-Ne laser beam, is presented. By samples right and left-handed elliptically light beam with angle 22.5°, periodic nanostructure containing silver nanoparticles fabricated, which shows birefringence. experimental measuring sign amount rotation, induced linear birefringence determined. The results show, axis or light, are in opposite direction versus vertical axis. Dispersion for rotation observed explained.
