摘要: This study examined the relationship of organizational commitment with job burnout in correctional institution setting. Participants were 272 corrections employees at a maximum security state prison housing approximately 1000 male felony offenders. completed survey instruments measuring emotional exhaustion dimension and three primary forms (affective, moral, continuance). Results support study’s predictions negative between affective commitment, positive continuance commitment. No significant was found moral burnout. While no personal variables related to burnout, accounted for 22% variance.
