摘要: This article provides an overview of the role flow cytometry in diagnosis and follow-up plasma cell myeloma. A brief introduction to general immunophenotypic features normal myeloma cells is provided, followed by a discussion technical issues as they relate application this entity. The prognostic therapeutic utility cytometric immunophenotyping also analyzed, with emphasis on growing minimal residual analysis potential biomarker for evaluating treatment efficacy tailoring risk-adapted treatment, prospective clinical trials.
