摘要: Fructans are classified as prebiotic, which is defined nondigestible food ingredients that beneficially affect the host by selectively stimulating growth and/or activity of one or a limited number bacteria in colon, and thus improve health. In addition to their intestinal health benefits increasing beneficial microbial populations, fructans have been shown decrease fecal odor components, reduce blood cholesterol, prevent inhibit occurrence some types cancer, enhance vitamin synthesis, increase mineral absorption, stimulate immune system. Different forms can different physiological effects dogs. Specific may vary due fructan chain length rate fermentation. The type diet utilized (plant-based animal-based level crude protein) variation among individual animals might greatly efficacy supplementation. full probably will not be experienced unless dietary concentrations above 0.4% dry food. this review, importance were emphasized studies investigating use dogs summarized.
