In this study, we introduced the conception flow (CBF) gradient in peritumoral edema—the difference CBF values proximity enhancing tumor to normal-appearing white matter, investigated contribution perfusion metrics on discrimination glioblastoma a metastatic lesion. Materials Methods: Fifty-two consecutive patients with or lesion underwent labeling (3D-ASL) before surgical resection. The were measured edema (near: G1; Intermediate: G2; Far: G3). was calculated as subtractions G1 –CBF G3 – G2 . A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis used seek for best cutoff value permitting between these two tumors. Results: absolute/related regions significantly higher than those metastases( P < 0.038). ROC reveals, 1.92 ml/100g generated combination sensitivity (92.86%) specificity (100.00%) distinguishing metastasis. Conclusion: appears be more promising ASL differentiating high grade glioma
