摘要: Abstract Dust accumulation on the surface of photovoltaic modules decreases transmittance and produces power losses consequently daily energy losses. These are important in large plants, mainly arid areas. The company Asahi Kasei Corporation has developed a new self-cleaning coating for applications. performance can be increased due to two main properties film: anti-reflectiveness effect. aim this work is comparative evaluation produced by with without anti-soiling coating. For purpose, six same manufacturer technology, three coated it, have been tested under outdoor conditions year laboratory systems at University Malaga, southern Spain. Our results show that dust module reduces terms power, decrease transmittance. Furthermore, non-homogeneity distribution causes additional Obtained outcomes dry periods (without rainfall) soiling much higher. In these cases both kinds reach significant values, but greater Modules film an average 2.5% whereas uncoated value 3.3%.
