Google Scholar acceptance and use among graduate students: A quantitative study

摘要: Abstract Adding the external variables of satisfaction and loyalty to Fred Davis' technology acceptance model (TAM), this study examined extent which graduate students perceived Google Scholar be a resource that is useful easy use. A survey 1141 at University Minnesota asked questions exploring their perceptions as part research process. Seventy-five percent participants had used least once before, statistical analysis responses found usefulness, loyalty, and, lesser extent, ease use, were positively significantly related students' intended use information resource. This showed TAM an applicable for predicting student Scholar, can help academic librarians seeking understand new sources. Additionally, provides about how might best promote other library resources students.
