摘要: Aim The aim of this study was to get the first-hand knowledge about seroprevalence Porcine parvovirus (PPV) in Punjab and a diagnosis PPV from abortion cases swine using gross, histopathological, immunohistopathological techniques observe tissue tropism virus strain. Materials methods Tissue samples reproductive tract pig (n=32), placental (n=10), aborted fetuses (n=18) were collected Postmortem Hall Department Veterinary Pathology, GADVASU, field outbreaks butcher houses around Ludhiana. These processed for histopathological immunohistochemical (IHC) studies. For study, 90 serum different sex age 15 farms subjected indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assay commercial kit. Results Overall, found be 41.1%. Sex related difference prevalence noted. In grossly congested emphysematous lungs, internal organs with fluid abdominal cavity congestion brain, changes noted fetuses, while diffuse hemorrhages edema observed tissue. Histopathologically, most frequent fetal lesions liver, brain. IHC staining revealed antigens sections heart, lung, spleen, lymph node placenta, uterus sow. Gross, examination confirmed 5 fetus, 2 placenta 3 female positive infection. Conclusions Seroprevalence results may serve as support either prevention or control disease. is sensitive technique associated supplement gross alterations, respectively,
