摘要: Rapid changes are an integral part of what defines the dynamic nature coastal systems. Yet twenty-first century will be increasingly characterized by even greater pace change. In this chapter we argue that, in order to face acceleration, one needs transcend traditional organization science. We further that transcendence must locally driven, implemented, and translated into policies. support these claims, use climate change as a case study. This involves conducting gap analysis current practice conclude presenting project aimed at initiating paradigm shift is called for.
