摘要: This paper investigates the hypothesis that observed polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) concentrations in an aqueous system are equal to sum of organic phase and soluble molar concentrations. While proportional PAH mole fraction oil, estimated using Raoult's law. A batch laboratory mixing vessel with a scalable energy was loaded initially at various oil layer thicknesses (0.4-3.2 mm) which correspond surface loadings (40-310 mg/cm2). The agitated constant mean shear rates (Gm = 5, 20 s(-1)). Total petroleum (TPH) samples were taken periodically estimate entrainment rate as function initial thickness. TPH measured in-situ laser scattering instrument (LISST-100) ex-situ gravimetric analysis. At steady-state concentration (>72 h), additional analyzed for GC/MS increased over time according first-order kinetic model. Generally, both loading Gm. In addition, correlated well (r2 > 0.96) those predicted by partitioning These results useful assessing effects conditions on crude partitioning.
