摘要: Personality factors analogous to the Big Five observed in humans are present great apes. However, few studies have examined long-term stability of ape personality, particularly using factor-based personality instruments. Here, we assessed overall group, and individual-level, chimpanzee by collecting ratings for chimpanzees (N = 50) comparing them with collected approximately 10 years previously, same scale. The mean scores three six differed across two time points. Sex differences were also observed, sex found traits, males females showing different trajectories further traits over year period. Regardless sex, rank-order analysis revealed strong dominance; individuals who dominant at first point later. other exhibited poor moderate stability, indicating that variable their rank-position consistency time. As many assessing cognition rely on data several prior testing, these highlight importance current when correlating cognitive performance.
