摘要: Chlorhexidine is a widely used antiseptic agent; however, its bactericidal effect against bacterial endospores limited. The genus Bacillus spore-forming gram-positive bacteria that are ubiquitously found in the environment and cause opportunistic infection and food poisoning. susceptibility of bacterial to chlorhexidine was previously evaluated subtilis, but primary target for disinfection with agents, including chlorhexidine, should be harmful strains. We aimed evaluate of cereus group cereus, and compare harmless species, containing B. subtilis. the susceptibility 15 strains chlorhexidine in comparison 5 other strains, named subtilis this study. Our results indicated exerted bacteriostatic effect against species at practical concentrations, especially during long-term exposure. this study displayed relatively lower than group according minimum inhibitory bactericidal concentrations. We concluded there intrinsic differences to chlorhexidine between groups, molecular mechanisms unknown. The minimum or concentrations disinfectants than chlorhexidine may also need be clarified groups.
