摘要: This paper reviews parametric empirical Bayes (PEB) methods and their application to ecological data. One of the main objections Bayesian statistics is subjectivity caused by specifying parameters. Attempting remove that subjectivity, PEB philosophy uses mathematical framework, but then estimates, rather than specifies, all unknown Three examples are given illustrate methods.
