摘要: The Roman wreck found off Grado, not far from the city of Aquileia in north Adriatic Sea, was recovered 1999. ship carried various kinds amphoras with processed fish. A lead pipe, inserted hull near keel, is curious evidence which authors try to explain. pipe could be connected a piston-pump suck water. theoretical reconstruction demonstrates how this apparatus work and that it used feed tank allow trading live fish over long distance. © 2011 Authors
